Rise Across Texas Challenge's Cycling Fundraiser for bicyclists of all kinds to join VIPs including Governor Rick Perry and six-time Tour de France rider and U.S. National Champion Kevin Livingston. The Celebrity Ride will set off from the site of the Rise School in southwest Austin and wind about 16 miles through scenic Hill Country roads to the Salt Lick restaurant in Driftwood. Atrial Fibrillation Seminar by the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute on the most effective ways to treat and correct Atrial Fibrillation (A Fib), a heart rhythm disorder. Heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias) are problems that affect the electrical system, or "wiring," of the heart muscle. Symptoms of A Fib include shortness of breath and lightheadedness. Art Perspectives: WorkSpace: Anna Craycroft features Sam Gosling, associate professor in the department of psychology, in conversation with artist Anna Craycroft.
